Dr. Turin is a highly trained plastic and aesthetic surgeon with a passion for providing only the best possible results. He completed his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University and then graduated at the top of his class at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. He completed a rigorous 7-year residency at prestigious Northwestern University in downtown Chicago, where he trained with world leaders in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He has published extensively on all areas of cosmetic surgery, including facial aesthetic surgery and body contouring. He has presented his pioneering work on improving the safety of the fat transfer to the buttocks at multiple symposia, including the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, as well as numerous regional meetings. He is the lead author of a textbook chapter covering psychology in plastic surgery, and he believes that developing a great patient-surgeon relationship is critical to a happy outcome. In his free time, he enjoys triathlon, outdoor sports, and spending time with his family.
